Record an arrangement

Create or select the arranger as a canonical workspace Contributor. On the track, assign that Contributor as arranger and enter the control percentage, territory, verification status, registration status, and notes. These values describe this arrangement only and are not copied into the reusable directory identity.

  1. Confirm the selected Contributor represents the arranger in the current workspace.
  2. Enter the documented arrangement control and the territory where it applies.
  3. Set verification and registration states from the available evidence, then save.

Review

Confirm that the arranger belongs to the same workspace and that control percentages reflect the documented arrangement interests. The arrangement layer does not replace master ownership or the underlying-work status.

Multiple arrangers may be recorded when the documentation supports separate interests. Do not use a display-name match across workspaces, and do not put a track-specific share on the directory record. Review conflicts when entered control exceeds the documented total or when territories differ. Also record the sound-recording owner in the Master step. Audit evaluates whether the public-domain workflow has an arranger, control, and territory; passing those checks supports operational review but does not prove authorship, registration, or clearance.
